    • 申请 degree-seeking student (you must apply as degree-seeking if you want to take more than five credits 和/or you would like to use  financial aid).
    • 你 will hear from the college by 电子邮件 once your application has been processed. It may take up to a week to hear back.

2) Set Up 你r 我的磅 Single Sign-On (SSO) Account

我的磅 Single Sign-On allows you to access orientation,  registration, 和 more. 你 can set up 我的磅 SSO as soon as you’ve been accepted to 博天堂官方. 你必须把它设置好 complete your next steps 和 register.

3) Prepare for New Student Orientation

你 will receive an 电子邮件 with details on how to access the online New Student Orientation 一旦可用. For 秋天 term, New Student Orientation opens in June. 对所有 other terms, New Student Orientation opens four to six weeks prior to the start of 这个词. 检查 校历 学期开始日期.

While you wait, there are steps you can take to get things in order:

4) Complete New Student Orientation

When New Student Orientation has opened, you’ll receive an 电子邮件 with instructions on how to access it online. Each step of New Student Orientation must be completed in order. 一旦你有了权限 you should complete all the steps as soon as possible as registration appointments 和 classes begin filling up as time goes on.

What's in New Student Orientation?

  • Complete the placement process, which will match you with your starting math 和 writing 课程. 你 will have a few different options for determining placement:
    • Option 1: Submit official college transcripts (for placement 和 for applying previous credits to your LB transcript 和 degree)
    • Option 2: Submit a score report for a previously completed exam (GED, Smarter Balance, 等.)
    • Option 3: Complete the official 博天堂官方 math 和 writing placement diagnostics
    • Option 4: Use the self-placement guide to select a starting math 和 writing course

  • Share important information that will help your Enrollment Expert prepare for your New Student Registration Appointment 和 create your Recommended First Term guide. 在 起跑 form, you will share your:
    • Academic goals 和 preferred major
    • Math 和 writing placement information
    • How many credits you’d like to take per term
    • Any other information you would like us to know

  • 时间表 (和 attend) an appointment on campus to meet with an Enrollment Expert. During your appointment, you will:
    • Discuss your major choice 和 first-term preferences
    • Take a campus tour (optional)

  • Be guided through buying textbooks, making changes to your schedule, downloading the Watermark Student app to communicate with your advisor 和 instructors, 和 ensuring your financial aid is in order.

Once you’re registered for classes, you can access your 博天堂官方 student 电子邮件 account.

    • Every enrolled student has access to a student 电子邮件 account run through Gmail.
    • All important college communications will go to this address.

6) Attend Welcome 一天 和 你r First Year Seminar

在 秋天, we welcome new students during “Week 0” with Welcome 一天. This allows new Roadrunners to get familiar with the campus 和 one another before continuing students return 去学校. Welcome 一天 is held on the Wednesday before the start of 秋天 term. On Welcome 一天, you will:
